I needed a reminder that it will not always be over a 100 degrees.

And as we go through trials and tribulations, we need to remember that it will not always be so for those who know the Lord.

For we have the cool refreshing promises of a God who is not a man that He should lie.

2 Corinthians 1:20
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

2 Peter 1:4

⁴Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

So - what are the some of the promises of God?

*Nothing can separate believers from the love of God.

Romans 8:38-39

³⁸For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, ³⁹Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

*You can be sure of eternal life.

1 John 5:13

¹³These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

These are just a couple. Go on a treasure hunt and find His promises that speak to your life and write them down. They are a strong weapon against the enemy who desires to beat you down.

*For we are overcomers!

1 John 5:4-5

⁴For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. ⁵Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
