I can usually gauge where I am in my walk with the Lord by what I call my love barometer.
If I am ready to push the RED button and nuke certain places in the world, or I sneer at people who I think are making my life difficult, or it could be I resent having to do anything for anyone -- I know that I have stepped away from that narrow path.
Ahhh, but those times when I know His Grace. When His goodness blankets me, I love people. I see through eyes filled with His light.
It is a continual struggle to keep focus on the Lord. HE does not stay in one place for He knows we will grow bored and look elsewhere. It is a continual seeking.
