A whipped pup and a flat tire

I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

The attack is on. But our God is bigger. In Him we are victorious. And that is the lesson for me today.
In Him. His Word. He tells us to put on the whole armor of God. FOR a very good reason. The enemy roars about seeking who he can destroy.

Picked on my dog today. Two bigger dogs bet him up. I think he'll be ok. But when we took him to the truck to go to the vets, yep, there was a flat tire. Almost made me laugh. The enemies fingerprints were all over the crime.

So I proclaim the verse above. Shout it to the heavens. And promise to pray for my friends. We can't afford to forget we have an enemy. Even more we can't forget that we have been given God's armor.
Eph 6:10-18
 10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
 18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Let's put this armor on saints! The war is raging.

Praise the Lord - the restoration is already beginning. Neighbors paid the vet bill. Now, to see if that screw can be charged for the tire. : )
