Thanksgiving

Psalm 95:2
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

Psalm 100:4
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

1 Chronicles 16:34
O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

Matthew 26:27
And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

1 Thessalonians 5:18
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Our God is Great and worthy of all thanks.
If the enemy has you on the run, stop, find one thing to be thankful for, and stand. Resist the enemy and he will flee. Giving thanks to God sets our heart in a right place.

Giving thanks is a work of Grace. Seeing His Grace for us. Acknowledging that HE is good.

The world is constantly siding with the enemy and shouting "You Lack!"

Giving thanks, quietly and firmly shuts the hungry mouths of the never-filled beast that always wants.

When we can see with eyes of Thanksgiving and acknowledge that God is good, then contentment can come followed by joy.
