He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most
High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Love that verse.
For some reason, today I was struck with the simplicity of this verse.
To be in a shadow - you have to be near the thing making it.
The secret place, dwelling with God, is nearness to the Lord.
My trees make good shade, long shadows,
but until I am near the tree, I'm not in the shadow.
Be near to God. Abide with Him.
And His Shadow will cover you.
