Matthew 2:11And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.
Gold - a gift for a King.
The Wise men recognized Jesus as a King.

Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

Who is Jesus to you?
A baby in a manger? A good man? Wise teacher? Prophet of God?
As you bring your gifts to Him this Christmas (and everyday) take thought to who He is.
He is the King of Kings. The only begotten Son of God. The Prince of Peace. The Lord of Lords. The Alpha and the Omega. God with us. The Lion of Judah. The Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. The First born from the dead. The Life, the Way, and the Truth.
Consider whom you seek.
The Wise men did.
