DAY 67

John 15:17
These things I command you, that ye love one another.

Nothing like freezing temperatures to bring out the idea of warmth. Praying and checking on neighbors to see that they have electricity, firewood, food.

Suddenly, we see the human condition of our fellow humans. We all need to be kept warm. Sheltered from winter's cold tantrums. Comforted in life's storms.

And while this is good, we should expand our vision and seek the well being of our neighbor's eternal condition. Do they know the Good News?

Let the hard times shake our complacency. And along with shelter, food, and aid, give out the Good News. In the end, that is all that will matter. Consider the eternal condition of your neighbors.
