So teach us to number our days,
that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Why Joyful New Year and not Happy?
Big difference between joy and happiness.
Joy comes from the Lord.
Happiness comes from circumstances.
In Christ, we are above our circumstances.
John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

So rejoice. Be filled with His Joy for it is our strength.
And don't look down or around but up.
He has us in His hand
He will not forsake us or abandon us.
Be full of joy.
