Deception

Luke 21:8

And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

The days are lining up with the end times.

Deception fills the minds of  many, blotting out the truth

with the blackness of lies and partial truth.

Even the devil used scripture - with a twisted lie -

to try and seduce our Lord when He was being tested in the wilderness.

We must be wise.

HOW?  How do we assure that we are not deceived?

Know the Word. 

Get close to the Holy Spirit and let Him instruct you.

Stay close to friends that are strong Christians

Question the ways and thinking of the world

Ask for Wisdom for we are promised to have it if we but ask.

Pray, Study the Word, and abide in the Lord.

These are treacherous times, 

There will be many things that sound good

Tickle the ears and draw you away.

Stand firm on the Word of the Lord

And Abide in Him.
