Pleasing God

Can we please God? How hard is it? What does it require?

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.


Faith is the starting place. God sent His Son, Jesus, that we might be redeemed. Reconciliation between man and God is not possible without knowing Jesus and be known by Him. When we enter the family of God through the blood of Jesus, by being born again, we please God.

¹⁵By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.  ¹⁶But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Praise to the One True God - pleases God. When our hearts open to Him and Praise Him, Grateful that He is, acknowledging that He is the Creator of all things. And that HE is Good. 

It's not hard to please God. And the closer you get to Him, the more you know Him, the more you will please Him.

Psalm 37:4

 ⁴Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
