Tis the Season

Trees blush, the grass whitens, and cold air sweeps down from the north.
Fall is about to give way to winter.

John 10
21Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?

22And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.

This is right after Jesus tells of the Good Shepherd. The people were divided. A few verses later Jesus proclaims.

30I and my Father are one.

The people took up stones to throw at Him and He escaped out of their hand and went away to the Jordan where many recognized His miracles and believed.

What season are we in? Surely, many throw words of stone at Jesus. Failing to recognize the miracle of His birth, they don't believe. In fact, the world is intent on wiping Christ from all public discourse. It is an offense to those who do not believe.

As the grass has whitened, so are the fields of harvest. Winter is upon us, this season, be ready to give account of Who it is you believe. Tell of the wonderful things the Lord has done, and I believe we will see many believe in Jesus, the Son of God, born of a virgin in a manger in Bethlehem.

The season of winter is coming.

Shout of His coming. And His coming again.
